(NASHVILLE) — Results from a poll conducted at the beginning of September in Williamson County show Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump retaining a strong lead among likely General Election voters against Hillary Clinton. Findings also indicate Republican State Representative Glen Casada holds a comfortable lead over his Democratic challenger in the November 8General Election.

Donald Trump enjoys a double-digit lead over Hillary Clinton in Williamson County, 60.14% – 28.91%, with 4.0% planning to support Independent candidate Gary Johnson, and 6.96% still unsure or undecided.
In the race for State Representative in House District 63, Representative Glen Casada leads his Democratic opponent Courtenay Rogers 63.31% to 28.4%, with 8.29% currently undecided about who they will support.
Polling was conducted among a random sample of 526 likely General Election voters in Williamson County and includes Republican, Democrat, and Unaffiliated registered voters. Results have a margin of error of (±4.2%).
